Mod Podged Clip Boards and Note Pads

Check out my GIVEAWAY!! here

Materials

Materials:
Clear 6inch x 9inch clip board
Mod Podge
Sponge brush
Fabric or scrapbook paper
5inch x 8inch jr. legal pad

First, I took the clipboard and layed it on top of the fabric (wrong side so the marks would show up better) and traced around the outside of the clip board.

Then cut the fabric out.  I cut just inside the traced line so it would be a bit smaller than the outside of the clip board. I applied a layer of Mod Podge to the backside of the clip board.  I put the fabric right side touching the layer of Mod Podge and the back of the clip board.  I used my fingers and smoothed out the fabric to remove any air bubbles and push it all the way to the edge of the clip board.  While this was drying I coated the top binding of the note pad with Mod Podge and put a small piece of matching fabric on top of it and trimmed it to fit.

When the Mod Podge was dry on the clip board I applied another layer of Mod Podge to the back side of the fabric.  Here is the finished Product.

I also have added ribbon to the clip on the clip board for a little extra pizazz!

Well done! I'm planning to do some clipboards using tissue paper. It really does liven up a boring item, doesn't it? Yours turned out really fun! Following along now thru We're Organized Wednesday. Pam @ Sallygoodin
